Vice President
Michelle serves as Vice President after previously serving as Director. A community connector and entrepreneur, Michelle owns Texas Bluebell Venue and Affordable Impact Marketing, two businesses that reflect both celebration and sustainable growth for local enterprises.
Texas Bluebell Venue is an elegant, intimate space designed to host special events for up to 100 guests—an inviting setting where Ferris families and organizations can gather. Through Affordable Impact Marketing, Michelle helps grow local businesses with cooperative 9×12 postcard campaigns that reach thousands of homes, getting essential visibility into neighborhood mailboxes.
She joined the Board “to network with local businesses and impact the community.” Michelle enjoys serving because it lets her partner with others on events that bring people together and contribute to Ferris’ ongoing vibrancy. She sees the Chamber’s biggest contribution as building connections—linking businesses, residents, and resources—so everyone benefits from a stronger local economy and community fabric. In practice, she advocates by spreading the word about what local businesses offer, making introductions, and supporting community events that keep Ferris thriving.
Beyond work, Michelle treasures time with her family—she’s been married to her college sweetheart for over 30 years, and they’ve homeschooled their two children. Faith grounds her life and leadership. “My guiding principle is that with God, all things are possible,” she says, noting the importance of maintaining healthy boundaries in relationships. Her background includes B.Sc (Nutritional Science) and certifications as a Certified Biblical Health Coach, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and Certified Wedding & Event Planner. Fun fact: she competed in jazz choirs. She adds, it’s “a genuine honor to serve” the Ferris community—an opportunity she approaches with dedication and care.
